Tuatha De Dannon

Danu asked me to get this started. Here is how it's going to work. I'm going to start a story, and then I'm going to pass the lead to the next person to take up the story where I left off. After adding our part to the story, pass the lead to someone else. After you've added your part to the story pick someone and leave them a comment that it's their turn. If after a week they have not added anything then the last person needs to pick someone else.

When I was younger we did a similar thing. Our bard started a guided meditation as we all stood around the fire. He started it but then passed the staff to the next person. They then took up the guiding of the meditation. The staff went all around the circle with each person taking a turn as the guide. When the staff returned to the bard he tied it all together. It was one of the best meditations we did. We went through many transformations and faced things that we were unaware of.

Remember... don't worry about grammar and such... it's the story you're telling, not how well you did in school. Add as much or as little as you feel you need to.

To be a Creator you must first be creative. So I guess this is a simple lesson in being a Creator. Let’s begin.

OUR STORY

I was a seed of light falling from the sky. Into the womb of the earth I was plunged and lay dormant for nine long months. During this time I knew nothing but great excitement. The feeling of an unwritten book and all of its possibilities.

The feeling then changed to one of gentle warmth. It slowly covered my entire being until I was showered with golden rays. The heat soon became unbearable and I was forced to stir. I reached forth to cover myself and felt myself break free.

A strange new sensation then assaulted me. A coolness that hit me from one side then another. It seemed to come from all around and nowhere. It forced me to bend to its will. The first Lesson I remember learning is to bend with the wind but not let it change my nature. I am still me no matter what form the world twists me into.

I soon found myself growing tall and deep. I became aware of others just like me only distinctly different and unique surrounding me. Some towered over me and these I learned a great many things from. Others were just reaching forth for the first time and I felt honored to teach them all that I knew. But in turn they taught me a great many things. They taught me many new questions that I had not thought of yet. And so I learned in order to teach you must be willing to learn. For even the newest soul has something to teach.

Ok, let's try this again. Sorry Shane. Sorry Fiach Dubh. To much time elapsed and I need to choose another story teller. And, The story, (Our Story) continues......................................................

Continuing the Journey..............Our story!
And, as I continued down this road of learning, I encountered many new experiences. All of which have been deeply rewarding, enriching experiences. I wasn’t listening when my teachers told me there would be times of dismay as well as discovery, sadness and serenity, grief and glory as I continue this journey in my human form.
All these feelings and emotions were so new to me, so confusing and scary. I hadn't yet realized I was human. I had no idea being human is to experience many deep, emotions and feelings.
So, I found myself in a struggle.........................a struggle with life itself.
I set out to do battle, a lone warrior against life itself.
In my battles, I encountered many other warriors. Warriors who, in appearance, seemed very similar to me. Similar in that they to, were doing battle.
At first, I was cautious, and fearful of them. Because, in spite of our similarities, there were some very powerful differences. Those differences terrified me. I was not comfortable with differences. Differences to me was equal to feelings and emotions. Things I yet, did not know I was meant to experience.
I found myself though, admiring their courage, their knowledge, their compassion, their ability to know when to fight and when not to, when to protect, when to teach, when to learn, when to just simply sit and be still. They seemed to openly express the very things I was doing battle against………………they were being human.
These warriors taught me, to be human is to experience……………………

...Looks to the north, to the south, to the east and to the west.......................awwwwwwhaaaaa! there you are, Christopher!!! I am honored to pass the staff to you.

Now I knew I had to discover what the purpose for my experiences was.

I was in a sloping meadow at this time. To the east, I could see the meadow ended at a rocky cliff that led down to the crashing waves of the sea below. To the west, I could see the meadow ended at the tree line of a forest. Two adjoining trees stood out from the rest. The one on the right had a light tan trunk and the one on the left was dark brown but they were both larger than all the surrounding trees. My curiosity beckoned me to draw nearer to them so that I might more closely study them. As I approached, I could see that these trees marked the sides of a winding path that lead into the forest.

Now I was curious where this path would lead so I set out down the path. Initially, the path sloped slightly upward, but as I continued on the incline gradually but steadily became steeper. Eventually, when I looked through the branches of the trees behind me, I could view the sea far off to the east and quite a distance below where I stood. It was now evident that I was on my way up the side of a mountain.

The types of vegetation were changing as I ascended. Soon the trees were dwarfed, twisted and populated the rocky soil more sparsely. I now had a breathtaking view of the sea stretched out so far below. The sun was almost directly over head now and there was little shade afforded by the shrubs that surrounded the path. A cool moist breeze wafted from the east but the climb was still causing me to over heat.

About twenty feet off the path, I could see an enormous outcropping of rock that provided a large shaded area below it. I decided that would be a good spot to rest a bit. As I approached the shady area, I could see it was actually a cave. As I sat resting at the mouth of the cave, I could hear the muffled echoes of voices of what sounded like voices coming out of the cave entrance. As I peered into the cave, I could make out a faint light reflected off the stone cave interior as it curved to the right

/ The time has come for me to pass the staff on to Amber, I wish you luck my friend as you lead the way.
